Squash - Portscatho Squash Club is 2 minutes up Treloan Lane.

Tennis - There is a free tennis court in the park at the back of St. Mawes public car park, this large park also has a children's playground.

* Horse Riding - The Manor Riding Centre at nearby Veryan, also a great favourite, offers competent tuition or hacks across the countryside and riding for the disabled (hats available).

Cricket - The local cricket club welcomes visitor players.

Gym - At Portscatho Social Club.

Cycling - Bicycles available on short or weekly hire plus guided tours are available from Roseland Paddle and Cycle hire. Cycles are also available to hire from the Garage in Gerrans.

Nearby Percuil Boatyard with its yachting and boating facilities also has the following on offer:-

*Windsurfing - Conditions on the Percuil and Fal estuary are absolutely Ideal. Boards are available for hire and tuition.

*Canoeing - Hire and expeditions available locally from Roseland Paddle and Cycle Hire at Percuil.

*Diving - Scuba Diving is a favourite activity of Treloan guests with admirable locations right on hand. There are Sub Aqua facilities available on either side of Treloan at Falmouth or Fowey.

Within easy driving distance are the famous Newquay, Fistral, Portreath, Perranporth, Watergate and again many other longer surfing beaches with all the modern safety precautions, life guards etc.
